Welcome to our Pilates sessions, where contemporary meets classical in our teaching methods.
Our focused and restorative classes challenge you while enhancing your workout with essential equipment like blocks, balls, magic circles, and resistance bands.
These tools not only improve your muscle strength and mobility but also engage multiple muscle groups, promoting balance and core activation.
No need for a reformer, the mat classes are equally as challenging!
Each session incorporates somatic stretching, elements of the Feldenkrais technique, and breath work, ensuring a fun and engaging experience for all.

Every Tuesday from 6 :15 pm - 7 :15 pm
This mixed-level class welcomes participants of all abilities, including beginners with some Pilates experience (although it's not essential).
Don't forget to bring your mat if you have one, we also have spares available.
Please wear appropriate clothing along with a long sleeve top whilst we warm-up.
We also offer a convenient lunchtime class—reach out to us for more details.

I've been attending Pilates sessions with Grainne for a couple of years and I'm very happy with her classes. This is no bootcamp (thankfully), but sessions are always challenging and varied, often introducing various equipment to keep things interesting. Grainne takes us through the difficulty levels with clear instructions and allows us to find our own level. As a 50+ woman with MS, I feel very comfortable and not in the least bit intimidated in her classes, and the small class size ensures individual attention when required.
She is always cheerful and light hearted and is truly a joy. And she's not even paying me to say that.

Grainne is delightful, so as soon as you arrive at the class you are cheered up, and it all goes with a swing.
She is absolutely professional so each person is asked, on arrival, if they have any problems or injuries, and if so each is told not to do particular exercises, or to adapt them in a certain way. During the class each student is reminded how to do /change the particular exercise to avoid any problems. At the beginning of the next class Grainne will remember each problem/ injury, and ask if the student is better.
During the class, Grainne will seek to ensure that each of the students is doing the exercise correctly, and will assist them individually if not. She is very careful to check that no-one is risking injury while working.

I have been attending Grainne’s Pilates classes for three years at my local gym. She is a very competent and knowledgeable teacher, assessing each student’s needs and advising accordingly. Terms & Conditions
Public Liability - Waiver for all Clients attending Kwor Pilates Classes - Limitation of Liability
Payments / Block bookings
Cash is excepted on the day and preferable £11.00
Card payments on the day will be charged an extra 30p - £11.30
Block Bookings paid in full either on the day or online – with no extra fees applied
Cancelations & Refunds
Block Bookings will need a 24hr cancellation and the class can be transferred to the following week.
There is not a refund after payment has been made unless under exceptional circumstances.
INJURIES AND HEALTH
Please be advised it is your own responsibility to check with your doctor or medical professional about your suitability for our classes and where necessary obtain their written consent before committing to a session with us.
Please inform the instructor on the day or Grainne of any existing injuries, health problems or special needs before you attend your class and if necessary you will sign our Par-Q form.
All classes are delivered in a safe and controlled manner and we do not accept any liability whatsoever for any injury or illness in the eventuality should you have an issue during or after a class.
Injuries or issues include:

Bone, joint, tendon or ligament injuries

Breathing difficulties, asthma, dizziness, epilepsy

Spinal injuries

Heart Conditions

Diabetes

Recovery after major surgery
Any injuries or health issues which could affect your performance at our classes.
PREGNANCY
After giving birth we advise that you can attend our lunchtime class after 6 weeks, providing you had no birth complications or caesarean - then you will need a minimum of 12 weeks to attend and have clearance from your Doctor in both situations.
